VISITOR'S QUESTIONS
28... New Tank Set Up
Your aquarium has only been set up for 4 days, as I
receive this form, this is no time at all when it comes to setting up
an aquarium. When you set up an aquarium it should be left alone to
start its maturing process for a minimum of two to three weeks before
you think of doing anything else to it.
The cloudiness of the water that you speak of is quite
expected when starting up and does disappear as the processes of nature
start to work.
I refer you to my pages on
Setting Up,
this will answer your questions and tell you everything you should and
need to know. Also, for more information see:
Equipment,
Water Quality,
Maintenance.
It is best to read everything on the pages, maybe more
than once, so that you are sure of what is needed to set up your aquarium
successfully. If you take your time and get everything right the first
time it saves allot of hard work and frustration later on.
