WELCOME TO OUR REEF! this is my 60x30x24 marine tank. set in 2007, our biggest project .......so far! run with a 48x18x18 4 stage sump, turbo shorty skimmer and enough pumps to move well over 1500 gallons an hour from bottom to top. the sump has its own built in nurse tank, with its own skimmer attached. the top tank holds in excess of 85 kilos of live rock.....so far! also, over 300lbs of aragonite live sand. there are 6 internal flow pumps, minimum 1000 lph, each. the hard works done now, so its just stocking the tank to do...buying for pleasure! sweet! watch this space!!!

Ya, I was a victim of bad advise for over a year as well... that sucks!! So much money out the window, I always recommend books and finding someone with reputable reef knowledge before you even get into this hobby.
