Ben: I enjoy watching your clips here on youtube but I think you may want to re-think telling people to land "stingrays" by hand like this. What happens if some guy tries to grab a southern stingray like this and gets a barb thru his hand? The southerns barb is further down its tail and they can whip their tail and stick their barb the length of their body & then some. You may want to defferntiate between the cownosed and the more dangerous southern stingray. Killed the croc hunter right?

This brings back memories o fmy first ray...a nice quick hour long fight(woulda been shorter if we used a watercraft)

Snagging works but for catch-and-release use pieces of freshly cut Threadfin Shad, Mussels, or Clams on jigheads under bobbers and sight-cast. I release them tho
